Oxen and Cart

Upon arriving in Pucon we found our lodging to be a farm style house about thirty minutes outside of town. Our neighbors worked daily around the property and used these oxen to move heavy loads. You manuver these animals with a big stick used on pressure points to make one or both animals come to a stop. Similiar to driving a bull dozer, one side stops and the other side keeps going, therefore the cart turns. Our neighbors were nice enough to give us a quick lesson and let us practice driving the oxen and cart.
